Do More Epic Shit: Everesting Mount Keira with Sunshines × STëLF
No race. No medals. No podium. Just a bunch of blokes from the Illawarra climbing Mount Keira until they'd climbed Everest.

Just a bunch of blokes who want to do epic shit.
Why? Honestly, we don't fully know. There's no race, no medals, no prize money and no podium. There's only a group of riders willingly putting themselves through hell to find out how far they can actually go.
Pick one climb. Ride it up and down, over and over, until you've climbed 8,848 metres, the height of Mount Everest, in a single go. No sleep breaks. It's simple to explain and very, very hard to finish.
Our mates at Sunshines picked Mount Keira, the Illawarra's home climb.
This one was months in the making. Through winter, the crew went back to Keira to run the climb they'd be repeating on the day, and they documented the build-up as they went. Then came the jersey.
We worked with Sunshines on an official jersey worthy of the challenge. It's inspired by cycling's iconic polka-dot climber's jersey, reimagined with its own twist, and built on our STR1KE jersey.
Whether you rode the full Everesting, joined in for a few laps or cheered from the roadside, it was made to be worn by the whole crew.

Worth pushing past limits that seemed out of reach? Worth learning not to take no for an answer, especially when it's your own head screaming it? Worth showing your kids that hustle, grit and toughness will take you further than talent alone?
Yes. It's worth it.
Do more epic shit.
Big love to the Sunshines crew and everyone who rode, rolled laps or cheered. 📷 Photos by Ryan Morgan and Nathan Hennessy.
